OUR STORY

1987:  Garden Fresh Foods was established as a Washington State corporation, founded by Jim Dugdale and Steve McFarland with humble roots in Woodinville, WA. Operating out of a 4,000 square foot facility, the business quickly grew as its reputation for fresh product and customer service becomes known in the greater Seattle area. 

 

 

1997:  Mark Dugdale joins Garden Fresh Foods having graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business.

1999:  Garden Fresh Foods became famous for their potato products, outgrows its main facility and expanded its potato operation to a secondary facility a block away from its main offices.

 

 

 

2000:  Jim Dugdale retires, Mark assumes the position of Vice President. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2009:  Garden Fresh Foods moves its entire operation to the facility housing the potato operation, making the 42,000 square foot facility its new home. Christina joins Garden Fresh Foods.

2017: Mark Dugdale and his wife Christina serve as sole owners.

2021: Our commitment to our partner customers and employees is evident by Garden Fresh Foods continued growth. 

 

Garden Fresh Foods is much more than those at the helm; it is about the commitment level of the people employed by the company to accomplish the mission. We believe our employees are our greatest asset. To that end everyone at Garden Fresh Foods works collectively to build on the legacy of our founders.
